Theatre
St. Simon students audition to be a part of the fall musical. This year's production, Godspell Jr. will take place on November 19th & 20th. You may purchase tickets using this link https://school.saintsimon.org/theatre
Band
Students in grades 6th-8th may participate in the school band. Band members have class for the entire school year and perform in several concerts. A culminating trip to Marian University at the conclusion of the school year provides an opportunity for St. Simon band members to collaborate with collegiant band members.
Choir
Students who are in the choir help lead songs during Mass.
Student Council
Leadership, service and school spirit are the three pillars of St. Simon Junior and Middle School Councils. Students participate in several service activities, including the annual Haunted House Food Drive.
Academic Olympics, Spelling Bee, Geography Bee and Spell Bowl
Students compete in a variety of academic competitions against other local schools.
Battle of the Books
Teams of students read books selected for the competition and compete against one another regarding their knowledge of the text.
Science Olympiad
Students are able choose an area of interest within STEM and participate in competitions against students from other schools. This is such an amazing opportunity to explore and learn about so many different areas of science.
